Heritage Days - 2010

The “Heritage Days” Church Camp held in late June built on last year’s success.  Activities included morning prayer, sing-a-longs, cultural history (to include the history of our local Ukrainian community), Ukrainian folk dancing, language lessons, folk arts, preparing and baking perohi, structured games, and play time.  We were also blessed to be able take the older youth (12 and up) to the Clinton Icon Museum.  In accordance with tradition, we ended the encampment with a pool party!   The fifteen children who participated were taught, supported, mentored, and supervised by twelve adults (to include a nurse and several certified teachers). The St. Michael’s community is blessed by it’s wonderful children, youth, families and adult supporters!
