The “Heritage Days” Church Camp held 17 - 19 July was a great success.  Activities included morning prayer, sing-a-longs, Ukrainian folk dancing, pysanki (Ukrainian egg painting), crafts, cooking, and play time.  The twelve children who participated were taught, supported, mentored, and supervised by ten adults (to include a nurse and several certified teachers).  Plans for next year include separate age tracks for crafts, dancing, and classes; a field trip; camp t-shirts; and encouraging broader participation from the children and youth of our community.  It had been a while since “Heritage Days” last convened, and we are happy that its re-inaugural went so well and look forward to many, many, more iterations!
